Instructor Development Courses

Instructor development, chosen properly

PADI Instructor Development Course

Instructor development, built to be taught.

A structured route from Divemaster to confident PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor — with the time, coaching and real teaching focus that professional development deserves.

The IDC route

Train for the job, not just the examination.

The Instructor Development Course prepares candidates to teach safely, professionally and with confidence. It combines standards, teaching practice, dive theory, skill demonstration and continuous coaching before the PADI Instructor Examination.

10 training days

Delivered across two structured weeks, Monday to Friday, with eight core IDC days and two scheduled development days.

Development built in

Use the additional days for Specialty Instructor training, supervised teaching experience, pool practice or focused revision.

Supported progress

Practice teaching presentations, mock Instructor Examinations and develop a clear, professional teaching style.

PADI

PADI professional development is central to Go-IDC. Course Director-led instruction belongs in the programme itself — not as a decorative headline.

Let’s plan the next step properly.

Whether you are preparing for an IDC or looking to host one, start with a practical conversation about your people, location and timing.
